The winter had average temperature, low rainfall and almost no snow, a trend that continued into Spring, without any criticality. Summer began with a rainy June, though the rainfall didn’t hinder the grapes ripening, but then continued with sunny and airy days until Autumn, when there was some light rains during the second half of October, at the end of the harvest. The grapes harvested feature an outstanding aroma complexity, elegant tannins and excellent natural acidity, characteristics that since the beginning gave rise to the perception of an extremely high-quality vintage.
