On June 20, 2025, the fourth edition of Red Montalcino will take place in the stunning setting of the Montalcino Fortress. This unmissable event, dedicated to Rosso di Montalcino DOC, combines wine, gastronomy, and music to celebrate the soul of one of Italy’s most iconic wine regions.
For the first time since its acquisition by Il Borro, Pinino will take part in the event, presenting its Rosso di Montalcino 2022 for tasting, featuring a new label that marks the brand’s restyling and the beginning of a new chapter for the winery.
The new design reflects the desire to tell Pinino’s story with a more contemporary and recognizable style, while preserving its deep connection to the tradition of Montalcino.
The wine authentically expresses the character of our terroirs: on the nose, it is intense and fruity, with notes of raspberry, cherry, and delicate spices. On the palate, it is fresh and full-bodied, with velvety tannins and an elegant persistence. The grapes come from vineyards located between 284 and 318 meters above sea level, grown on soils rich in galestro, alberese, and clay, and harvested between September 12 and 21. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with maceration lasting 18 to 25 days, followed by at least six months of aging in oak barrels.
