The beginning of the year was characterized by above-average temperatures and moderate rainfall, while spring was cooler. The summer months had average temperatures and low precipitation. Thanks to previously accumulated water reserves and temperatures that did not reach excessively high peaks, the foliage remained almost intact and efficient. This allowed for a slow and uniform maturation of the grapes, optimal for achieving perfect phenolic and technological ripeness. Some rains during the first week of September delayed the harvest time and this helped in containing the alcohol content of the grapes. The
wines produced show characteristics of elegance and finesse, with well- balanced tannins, with well defined aromas and pronounced primary notes.
